The governor of the region stressed the need to continue the cleanliness campaigns at a rapid pace in towns and on beaches, as well as the continuation of the campaign against insects through programming that enters by air. to treat the sabkha of Al-Muknin during the period (between June 21 and June 28 of the current) and the treatment of the tourist area and Hamada in Nablah and Wadi Al-Maleh and the rest of the intervention areas during the week from June 28 to July 4, 2021.
The regional health director of Monastir renewed the call to encourage and urge citizens to increase the demand for vaccination as the only solution to get out of this crisis and ensure a successful summer and tourist season with the possibility of relaxing the measures announced previously. He added that the owners of hostels and tourist establishments have launched their preparations for this season through cleaning campaigns and the launch of the project to renew the orientations of tourist establishments in Monastir, which is a common model project between professionals. and civil society under supervision. of the town of Monastir and the regional tourism delegation.
The head of the state municipal affairs department explained that the automatic beach cleaning process has been launched since March 10, because the intervention program includes 08 beaches, including Al-Dakhila beach (23 operations of 'intervention), and the rest are public beaches: 04 beaches in Al-Baqalta (Al-Dimas, Al-Basari, Al-Sharaf, Al-Baghdadi) and 03 beaches in Monastir (Qaria, Nakhil, Skanes).
