The first stressed the importance of developing relations between Tunisia and Japan, based on the promotion and support of social action, in particular the assistance of associations dealing with persons with special needs, and the possibility of developing relations between the two countries. The Monastir Center for Autism and Psychological Development, founded in September 2008 and reviewed by the Tunisian Association for the Promotion of Mental Health, is one of the most important centers for autistic children, who have difficulty learning or speaking, as well as for children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders.
