Donation to the Doves Centre for Autism and Psychological Development Disorders in Monastir As part of the strengthening of cooperation relations between Tunisia and Japan, the Embassy of Japan in Tunisia on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 made a donation to the Hamaem Center for Autism Disorders and Psychological Development in Monastir

.He oversaw the signing of the Endowment for the Acquisition of a Bus for the Transport of Children, initially accredited to the State of Monastir Tariq al-Bakush in the presence of Ambassador Shimizu Shinsuke of Japan of Tunisia, Acting Director of Social Affairs Saleh al-Zayani and deputy mayor of Mondher Marzouk. The first stressed the importance of developing relations between Tunisia and Japan, based on the promotion and support of social action, in particular the assistance of associations dealing with persons with special needs, and the possibility of developing relations between the two countries. In the same context, the Ambassador was invited to visit the State of Monastir on another occasion to learn more about the economic fabric of the region. In the presence of the President of the Tunisian Association for the Promotion of Mental Health, the First Rapporteur and His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan to Tunisia were informed of the various activities of the Centre for Children, and psychological information and appropriate education under the supervision of psychologists and teachers of children with special needs. The Monastir Center for Autism and Psychological Development, founded in September 2008 and reviewed by the Tunisian Association for the Promotion of Mental Health, is one of the most important centers for autistic children, who have difficulty learning or speaking, as well as for children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders. His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan to Tunisia also visited the Hospital of Obstetrics and Obstetrics of Monastir, where he was informed in the presence of the Regional Director of Health Hamouda Al-Baba and the Director General of the University Hospital, Fatouma Bourguiba in Monastir, on the side of the hospital.
